At first; i´m new to ETS2, but installed some mods (ProMod, Rusmap,). It´s all working so far. But I had now several times following: at driving along the streets, the screen goes black, then the loading screen appears and I´m back on the road again. But now my steering wheel doesn´t work anymore (in the options it´s not selevtable anymore). Most of these times I must close ETS2
Hey, latley my steering doesnt work well and i truly dont know why. I have tried configuring the wheel settings for few hours and nothing worked, also tried to reinstall the game (deleted all the profiles of course) and still its not good. I cant describe it, but the steering has wirdly low sensivity and the "steering auto-center" is also realy low, i have tried to increase the Steering

Copying the controls settings from ETS2 helped me solve the crashes when the wheel was connected. Just go to Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\A_LOT_OF_LETTERS_AND_NUMBERS\. Grab the file controls.sii. And put it in the folder Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles\A_LOT_OF_LETTERS_AND_NUMBERS\. Hope this will work for you :)
Just restart the game. And remember to always plug and power on the wheel first before running the game application. If you power on the wheel after the game, the game will not detect the wheel. The game only detects your components at the first load up just one time.
I use PXN v900 steering wheel that I have bought from aliexpress and the wheel itself works but the vibration doesn't work in ETS2 but in ATS it works. #2. Briannospam Jul 14, 2020 @ 9:52am. I do not know that steering wheel. And since you have enabled FF in controller settings, it should work too.
