(, Galaxy Watch 1). Is this common? My set up is Bluetooth connection on , wifi off, and LTE voice permanently on with LTE data off. I'm in a week mobile signal area. I was sat reading , about 18c air temperature at night. Is the LTE hardware working overtime because the LTE signal keeps disappearing, and is overheating?

Worked fine until the last update and first connection to LTE around the same time as I changed phone contracts a day later. On LTE it warns of overheating within 5mins and switches to emergency only for cooling for about 10 mins. Battery only lasts from 8am to midday. Useless.
I'm in the UK this is my 2nd watch which overheats Samsung just say send it in for repair if someone can point me in the right direction on where to escalate this issue I'm happy to start it also would be nice if maybe we can start a specific page/post with JUST LTE heating issues so if I get to esc
I had the phone disconnect notification turned off (as discussed in this thread) on my Galaxy Watch 4 (LTE, 44mm). But in the last couple of weeks the watch has started notifying me whenever it disconnects. I've flipped notifications on and off again, hoping to fix this. But it doesn't change the behavior. Hi I had a similar experience with the watch 4 . Luckily the watch 5 wasn't far from release .so I got a refund on the 4 waited for watch 5 ,only to be in HOSPITAL this week with a flat phone i thought no problem! you have the watch wrong less than 2 mins into a call to my wife it went into overheat 2 months old galaxy watch activ 2 lte 44mm overheats and shuts down every time on mak8ng or recieveing a call on standalone(lte) mode.
